Meet the experienced and passionate instructors at Spectrum School of Massage, dedicated to guiding students through every step of their massage therapy education.

Rachelle Sian
Head Instructor & Assistant Director

Rachelle is one of the owners of Spectrum School of Massage. After receiving her BA in Psychology and working several professions while traveling around with her military family, Rachelle began to look at ways to become stable in a mobile career.
During a short stay in CA, Rachelle put her time to good use by taking some classes in massage therapy at a local college and instantly found her gift. She extended her massage education by attending an orthopedic massage seminar. After the first day, she was sold on the effectiveness of orthopedic massage and continued on to get her certification in that modality.
She continues to pursue knowledge in the field of medical massage to include:
Masters Degree in Exercise Science with a specialty in Rehabilitation Science, Corrective Exercise Certification with NASM, and Specialty in TMJ therapy.

Mike Sian
School Director

Michael Sian, V.P. of Spectrum Fitness & Director of Spectrum School of Massage. He is a highly decorated retired military officer, with thirty years of service with the Department of Defense. He holds a master’s degree in International Security Studies from the Naval Postgraduate School and a master’s degree in US History from the American Military University. Post retirement, Michael has gone through the rigorous education to become a Paramedic and holds an associate’s degree in Paramedicine from the Dakota College of Bottineau.
He has taught as an adjunct professor for Park University as a US History and a Criminal Justice teacher. He has trained in Martial Arts for over 40 years, also serving as the lead hand to hand combat instructor for multiple military units. He also has a passion for fitness as he has pursued martial arts for the majority of his life, as well as law enforcement tactics/self-defense instructor certifications.

Krystal Wall
Massage Therapist, Dickinson

Krystal Wall graduated in 2015 from Broadview University in Meridian, Idaho, with an Associate of Applied Science in Massage Therapy. She holds certifications in Thai Massage, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Lymphatic Drainage, and bodywork for PTSD, as well as deep tissue and sports massage. She is passionate about working with individuals with ALS, Parkinson’s disease, and other special populations. Krystal specializes in therapies for neck pain and migraines. In 2018, with lots of support and help from her husband was able to open Keep Me Well Massage Therapy, where they provide tailored treatments to enhance client well-being.

Brandy Knopik
Instructor, Dickinson

My name is Brandy Knopik and I currently work at Dermalounge in Dickinson, ND. Ive been a Massage Therapist for 17 years. I also have an associates degree in nursing and bachelors in University Studies with a Healthcare concentration. Im married to Paul Knopik and we have 5 children together, Winter, Angel, William, Hope & Caleb. We love watching movies and playing at parks together!

How Our School Works
At Spectrum School of Massage, students receive a well-rounded education that combines textbook-based learning with extensive hands-on experience. Our program is designed to meet certification requirements, with each hour of training contributing toward the total needed for licensure.
